The passion that Karla brings to her coaching and
consulting practice stems from her love of business, people, and
life. Throughout her career she has attained success in business
through managing, growing and leading successful businesses, helping
people find fulfilling and gainful employment; while endeavoring
to live life on her own terms whenever possible.
Her path gives her a unique understanding of the
true needs of businesses, particularly how they select and retain
their top performers. She thrives at taking this understanding and
helping people to develop realistic and successful job search strategies
based on the truth about how organizations (large and small) hire
employees, decide who to hire, and who to promote.
With 18 years in the staffing and recruiting industry
servicing many industries as one of the principles of a $6M firm,
it is her pleasure to work with candidates and organizations to
create productive and profitable work places.
A consummate networker and former Executive Managing
Director for eWomenNetwork, Karla rarely meets a stranger and has
a wide network of colleagues and friends around the world. She is
a frequent speaker on in-person and digital networking, and also
speaks to organizations on a variety of general business topics.
She is the author of two books and is at work on a new e-book for
job seekers that will teach them the guerilla placement tactics
that the best headhunters use.
A graduate of Augustana College, she attained her
initial coaching certification from Franklin Covey and has achieved
additional coach training from Marshall Goldsmith and ACT, and the
